- To send you text message updates from groups you are part of
Text Messages (SMS)
By creating an account, you consent to receive text messages from us, including one-time verification codes and updates from groups you join. Message frequency varies based on your activity and the groups you are part of. Message and data rates may apply based on your mobile carrier plan.
Who Can See Your Information
- Your name is visible to other members and the Leader of any group you join.
- A Group Leader's name and phone number are visible to members of their group, so members can reach them.
- Your own phone number is never shown to other members — only to the Group Leader in the limited cases described above.
- Platform administrators can view account information for support and moderation purposes.
Data Retention and Security
We retain your information for as long as your account is active, or as needed to comply with our legal obligations. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect your information, though no method of storage or transmission is completely secure.
Your Rights and Choices
